Work Placement

At this moment in time i am looking to get a work placement in the summer with a Web-based design agency, TwentySixDigital.

Im not wanting to go there to learn web code, more the designing of assets for websites, well thats what id like to do anyway!

The agency has a vast and impressive cliental, ranging from the Army, RBS and Hugo Boss.

When i first looked at the site i was quite impressed, some of the work they have produced is rather lovely.

Creative CV

This is my first idea for a creative CV,

Format
The plan was to have it as an A3 poster, the front having the 4 pictures, examples of my work, and the back with the actual cv bit on.
The poster then folds so on one side it has the 'Mitch Gibbons' in black and on the other side the white version.
However!
After my tutorial i was questioned with how it will fit in an envelope,
bugga.
So i need to either find an envelope that will fit it or re-design it so it can fold without distorting the details on it!

Skills & Interests

I have two main passions in life, design and snowboarding. Art & design has been a part of my life throughout my education, this had lead me to focus my interest in graphic design. From being on my degree I have come to specialize in the use of type for design and also developed a range of skills across professional standard software such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

As I said before the other passion in my life is snowboarding. I have been doing it for around 6 years, its kind of my escape from reality and has also given me some of the best weeks of my life so far. At some point in my life I would love to combine the two elements of design and snowboarding and form a career out of the two, whether it be designing the snowboard art itself or general design for a boarding company.

ETC.

Typography for the win.

Helvetica is everywhere but it is highly attractive.

I enjoy drawing.

One of my favourite designers is Boris Tellegen aka. Delta

Snow & Skateboard art, an extensive library of beautiful designs
